Fourtrust Executive Search’s method is twofold. It aims at both soft criteria (e.g. the candidate’s ambition and personality) and hard criteria (e.g. education and experience). In other words, does the candidate fit into the function and the given work environment/culture?

Our philosophy is: Finding out who is the person behind the tie and to testing if this personality fits into the given function/competency profile.


With each and every recruitment question Fourtrust Executive Search concentrates especially on the analysis phase. Fourtrust Executive Search shall pay great attention to the research on the work environment of the organization (well known or quite unknown). Relevant employees will be interviewed and an impression is gained about the future work situation and place. Knowledge, know-how and experience do not determine the success of a top talent, but the optimal way he/she can make use of these assets within the given company culture. Approach
Fourtrust Executive Search works on a task following these phases:

A     Framing
We map out the organization and the position to be filled in relation to the aims & targets and the structure & culture of the organization. To be able to get to know the organization and to get a correct picture of it, in some cases is necessary to have a few rounds of talk on the spot.

B     Function and Competence Profile
On the basis of the collected data we outline the situation, describe the position to be filled in and we put the function and competence profile together.

C     Search process
The search plan will be drawn up and the relevant function groups will be mapped out. The selection and the process of judging the potential candidates can begin.

D     Prior Selection
After the selection of the candidates, all the information gained will be evaluated. Thereafter the candidates will be actively approached and further selected.

E     Selection
After the interviews we select the candidates who best fit into the function and competence profile. The consultant’s empathy and experience play a great role in this selection process.

F     Presentation
We talk about the presented candidates (usually 2 or 3) with the client and plan the informative talks.

G     References
We conduct a reference research and deliver a report on the results. References are always part of our process because they add value to the present and future success.

H     Appointment
The appointment of the candidate is the end of the procedure for us. At the same time this is a new beginning for our client and the appointed executive.

I     Evaluation
The end evaluation with the client and the new top manager takes place 6 months after the start.

On the basis of a previously set up project plan the consultants of Fourtrust Executive Search work together with a committed project team. The project plan consists of a list of the work that needs to be done, the time components, the progress report timeschedule and the evaluation.

The project team consists of a project leader, a back up consultant and the back-office. The consultants of Fourtrust Executive Search keep the agreements and live up to the rule of conduct.

Information about candidates and organizations is strictly confidential and can only be given to third parties after permission. Fourtrust Executive Search offers plainness & clearness. Therefore agreements about fees and the time needed for a procedure are made in advance. The expectations beforehand have to match the results in the end evaluation. Fourtrust Executive Search meets the expectations.

Fee
Fourtrust Executive Search operates on the basis of previously fixed fees. The percentage to be agreed on depends on the yearly income belonging to the position to be filled in and the difficulty and intensity of the mediation.
